Studied Physics at the Technical University of Munich;

Scientific assistant at the Physics Department of the Technical University of Munich for 4 years including research and lecturing in the field of solid-state physics;

Doctor's degree in the field of semiconductor physics, especially neutron-spectrometric phonon determination;

Has been working in the field of industrial and intellectual property since 1977 with technical emphasis on mechanical engineering, especially automotive engineering as well as optics and medical engineering, his practice being focused on patent infringement as well as nullity proceedings;
